Islamopedia Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Islamopedia mobile application, its widgets, and its Wear OS companion. By using Islamopedia, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Islamopedia is a free, ad-free Islamic application offering Quran reading and listening, Islamic audio content, prayer times, Qibla, Athkar, reminders, Tasbeeh, widgets, Wear OS features, downloads, and optional backup and restore. Features may differ by platform, device, country, permissions, and operating-system version.

2. No account required

Islamopedia does not require an Islamopedia account. If you choose Google Drive backup, you authorize Islamopedia to use an app-private area in the Google account you select. Your relationship with Google and use of Google Drive remain subject to Google’s terms.

3. Prayer times, Qibla, and reminders

Prayer times, Qibla readings, location results, and reminders are calculated or delivered using device sensors, platform services, selected calculation methods, and user settings. Results can be affected by location accuracy, compass calibration, device restrictions, time settings, and local conventions. You remain responsible for selecting suitable settings and confirming important religious times or directions with a trusted local authority when necessary.

4. Backup and data recovery

Backup is optional. While Islamopedia is designed to create and validate backup files carefully, no backup system is guaranteed to be uninterrupted, current, or recoverable in every situation. You should keep an additional manual export when the information is especially important. Downloaded audio files are not included in portable backups.

5. Content and acceptable use

Application software, branding, design, and original materials are owned by Ark Technologies or its licensors. Quran recitations, lessons, images, and other third-party content remain subject to the rights of their respective owners. You may use Islamopedia for lawful personal purposes. You may not interfere with the service, bypass security controls, abuse content systems, or redistribute protected materials without permission.

6. Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend, or remove features or content, including when required for security, legal compliance, platform compatibility, or service maintenance. Internet-dependent features may be unavailable due to network or third-party service conditions.

7. Disclaimer

Islamopedia is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that every feature will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every individual circumstance. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ark Technologies will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or data-loss damages arising from use of or inability to use Islamopedia or third-party services. Any liability that cannot be excluded remains limited as permitted by law.

9. Privacy

Our handling of information is described in the Islamopedia Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in Islamopedia, the law, or service providers. The effective date above will be updated. Continuing to use Islamopedia after an update means the revised Terms apply.
